"Melink is committed to the principles of sustainability, and more specifically to energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy."

We all want to create a better world for ourselves, our children, and future generations, and respecting the environment is fundamental to that pursuit. That is why Melink is committed to the principles of sustainability, and more specifically to energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Buildings consume 70% of all electricity generated and in the next 50 years the world's population will increase approximately 50%, translating into millions of additional buildings. Because most electricity comes from dirty fossil fuels such as coal that emit large amounts of carbon into the air, we believe it is time to create a clean energy economy.
Melink is uniquely positioned to help lead the way. As an energy solutions provider for many of the largest restaurant, retail, supermarket, and hotel chains, we are improving the performance of thousands of buildings across the U.S. and world. As a result, we are not only saving our customer's money but reducing their carbon emissions by thousands of tons every year.
Moreover, as a leader in green building design, construction, operation, and maintenance - as evidenced by our net zero energy LEED Platinum EB certified headquarters – Melink is influencing change far beyond its immediate customers. Our goal is to inspire thousands of other individuals and companies to become force multipliers themselves.
Additionally, a commitment to clean energy will also help improve our economy and national security. This is because the renewable energy industry which includes solar, wind, and biomass is one of the fastest growing in the world. In fact, investments in both efficiency efficiency and renewables very often out-perform conventional investments in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other financial investments. Becoming energy independent will make our country stronger.
We hope you will find ways in both your professional and personal lives to become part of the solution – it is easier than you think! Our homes, places of work, and modes of transportation are powerful examples. Help create an lifestyle that is safer, healthier, and more prosperous for everyone – both now and in the future!
